Hi! My name is Cole McFaul. I am a current sophomore majoring in Political Science and Philosophy/Religious Studies. I am on the Student Life and Communications Committees on the ASSU Undergraduate Senate, and my main project on Senate was helping to establish the FLIbrary, a lending library for course books located in the Diversity and First Generation office. Outside of Senate, I enjoy tutoring for Ravenswood Reads, playing basketball, and sleeping! My favorite spot in the area is Driftwood Deli & Market.

Raised in Houston, Texas, before moving to California, Chapman Caddell ’20 is majoring in History. He is the Undergraduate Senate’s Parliamentarian, the Chair of the Administration and Rules Committee, and a member of the Appropriations Committee. Hi everyone! My name is Lizzie Ford and I'm from San Mateo, California. I am a sophomore and a double major in Spanish and Political Science with a possible minor in CSRE. I am the Chair of the Student Life Committee and a member of the Appropriations Committee. This year I have worked on supporting the dining hall workers in their ongoing campaign for respect and a fair workload. I also spearheaded a joint-resolution in support of professional development for service workers. I continue to advocate for these workers in meetings with Stanford's HR department and R&DE. I have enjoyed my individual project so much that I plan to continue working with the workers' union even after my term as a senator ends. Outside of Senate I enjoy working with immigrants in Redwood City every week and listening to salsa music ("Vivir Lo Nuestro" is a fan favorite).

Hey y'all! My name is Hamzeh Daoud. I'm an international student here at Stanford from Jordan, and am a third generation Palestinian refugee. I'm a sophomore and a prospective International Relations major and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity minor. I currently serve as the chair of the Advocacy Committee on Senate and have been focused on projects that affect international students at Stanford, be it through funding or job opportunities, and events that advocate for institutional change at Stanford. Outside of Senate, you can find me acting in theater productions around campus, including Romeo and Juliet that's coming up this quarter during week 7, and biking around campus playing music very obnoxiously! Fav spot on campus is Pigott Theater :)

Hello! My name is Kimiko Hirota, and I'm a second year studying Sociology and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. As part of the Senate, I serve on the Communications and Advocacy committees. Alongside a handful of other students, I am working on an initiative to support the increase of resources for our community centers. Outside of Senate, I like to read and perform poetry. My favorite spot on campus is the tree on the left side facing Hoover Tower.

Hi! My name is Erica Scott and I’m a sophomore from Miami, Florida. I’m currently planning to major in International Relations with minors in Economics and Modern Languages. I sit on the Advocacy and Student Life committees of the Undergraduate Senate, and my individual project is to improve sustainability on campus by expanding food donation from dining halls and reducing plastic waste. Outside of Senate, I enjoy running with Running Club, going to concerts, and petting any/every dog on campus. On a sunny day, you can probably find me chilling at Coupa - Meyer Green is my favorite spot on campus!

Hey! I'm Gabe Rosen, a junior from New York City majoring in Public Policy. I'm currently in my second term on Senate and now serve as Chair of the Appropriations Committee. My main project has been overseeing the implementation of the new Standard/Quick Grant funding system to ensure that all of Senate's funding allocations are as fair and transparent as possible. Outside of Senate I enjoy watching movies with friends and hanging out with the rest of the brothers of AEPi. My favorite spot on campus is The Dish.

Senate Spotlight:

Hi! My name is Doris Rodriguez but I also go by Dory. I was born in Honduras and raised in Miami, FL. I am a sophomore and a possible Sociology or Psychology Major (or maybe both!). I serve as an ASSU Senator but I consider myself a student activist first and so my individual projects overlap in many areas. Some of these projects include preparing for a post DACAmented Stanford, improving the RA & RF trainings, raising the bar of social inquiry for our investments, and summer storage for FLI students. Outside of Senate I spend my days rollerblading around campus, playing basketball, exploring the bay or just chilling with friends.
