Meet the authors of The Practicing Stanford Feminist anthology. It was a joy to write, edit, and brainstorm women’s current social justice issues with these brilliant authors.
Our virtual book launch was held on Wednesday, February 11th, and it was a wonderful gathering of authors who read excerpts from their articles and shared stories, life experiences, and thoughts about women's wellbeing throughout the globe.

This event was an inspiring reception for The Practicing Stanford Feminist. I am honored to be the editor of this groundbreaking anthology of women's writings, with a Stanford feminist perspective, on the wellbeing of both girls and women in society.

Looking forward to sharing verses in volume two, an anthology of women's poetry.

Speaking of Joy Davidman Lewis, poet, political activist, and wife of C.S. Lewis, I highly recommend a book by Don W. King about her poetic life journey, entitled A Naked Tree: Love Sonnets to C. S. Lewis and Other Poems. Here is my review, published in Sehnsucht, The C.S. Lewis Journal. Joy was a brilliant and complex woman who wrote splendid sonnets. Don King does justice to her literary life journey, which may be considered, itself, a sonnet. Hope this review prompts you to read King’s book. 🍀

Review of Joy Davidman, A Naked Tree: Love Sonnets to C. S. Lewis and Other Poems, ed. by Don W. King (Grand Rapids, Michigan: Wm. B. Eerdmans, 2015). xvi + 320 pages. $30.00. ISBN 9780802872883.
