The 2026–2027 school year will be historic as we welcome our very first graduating class! It is an exciting time for Community Charter School as our school family continues to grow and we create new memories with each passing school year! This process has been a dream come true for dozens of leaders and educators that came together to provide school choice for families in our community! As CCS has
continued to grow and add grade levels each year, we are excited to be at the point where we are looking ahead towards our athletic programs continuing to flourish and other new horizons to explore how we can create the best experience for our students and their families. With these opportunities in mind, the CCS leadership team decided on a new mascot to symbolize our origins and intentions as a school community. Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year we introduced our school mascot as the CCS Trailblazers! This name is meant to represent our school leadership’s desire to blaze new trails and pioneer innovative methods to create a high quality school and meet the needs of future generations. We worked with a parent feedback group to discover a symbol that fits well with our new mascot as the Trailblazers and we designed a visual branding element that features a train engine. We feel that the train engine symbolizes the American spirit of exploration and adventure that feeds our excitement for boldly exploring new ideas to improve our nation and innovate to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world. We look forward to enjoying the discoveries with you all along on this incredible journey as Trailblazers in our community!
