We could give thanks a hundred times and it would not be enough to express our most sincere gratitude to Caryl Hackett and the 100 Women Who Care in Montcalm County for their generous donation of over $17,000 to the Montcalm Dolly Parton Imagination Library. This literacy program was selected as the 2026 recipient of these funds which will be allocated to providing books for our youngest learners in the Montcalm County area. In this program, books are mailed monthly to almost 1,400 children ages 0-4 years old who are currently enrolled. While the books are free to those children and their families, there is a cost of $36 per child per year to support the program. Montcalm Area ISD is incredibly grateful for our partners and community sponsors for their generous donations. Montcalm Area ISD sends a well-deserved congratulations to Dr. Lori Willett as she begins her retirement at the end of this week. We are grateful for her service to our Early College at Montcalm Community College program and the years she devoted to supporting students in the classroom.
