Congratulations to Greenville High School Class of 2020. Thank you to Cory Smith and The Daily News for such a beautiful tribute.

On Friday night, Greenville Public Schools honored its Greenville High School seniors — the class of 2020 — by lighting up Legacy Field for 20 minutes at 20:20 (8:20 p.m.).

Some students, parents and members of the community parked their vehicles in the GHS parking lot, and at the first sight of the lights, car horns could be heard blaring for several minutes, on and off throughout the 20 minutes.

For those who couldn't make it, the Daily News was there to record the event on video. You can now watch as the name of every member of the 2020 class — all 265 — scrolls across the bottom of the screen as the video takes you throughout the illuminated stadium.

So please enjoy this compilation of footage from the ground — and sky — of the stadium and celebrate these seniors as they work to conclude an unprecended school year remotely from home!

Congratulations to Lakeview High School Class of 2020. Thank you to Cory Smith and The Daily News for such a beautiful tribute to their seniors.

Each Thursday through the end of May, Lakeview High School will light up Kos Field at 20:20 (8:20 p.m.) in honor of the LHS senior class.

As the public is encouraged not to gather for the evening spectacle, abiding by the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive order, the Daily News received permission from Lakeview Community Schools to send up its drone and record video to share from the first event Thursday evening.

The video also features the names of all 62 seniors that make up the class of 2020.

So please enjoy these panning drone shots of the illuminated stadium and celebrate these seniors as they work to conclude an unprecended school year remotely from home!
