Hi Everyone,

I hope you're having a great summer!

We've been doing a lot of cleaning out and decluttering at our house, and we have close to one hundred million books that have been generously donated for the Little Free Farm Stand Library. We are lucky because there is very, very rarely room in the library for more books and they naturally rotate with all of our visitors so the extra donated books are just sitting in boxes in storage...

We're having a yard sale tomorrow, August 13 from 9 am to 3 pm, and we will have all of the donated books (at least 10 boxes full) out and ready for your perusal. They are free... though we will gladly take donations for maintenance of the little free library and the farm stand!

Please come by and take what you can use! (This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in starting their own Little Free Library... you could have it fully stocked immediately! :)

Good morning!!

Over the weekend, someone came to the library and straightened things up inside the library and thinned out the books - hopefully for another little free library or something similar. Thank you for spreading the love and making room for more books!!

The geocache left in the library by another community member was also removed. The geocache has been a great hit and such a fun find for the geocaching community as well as another reason to visit the farm stand and library! I'm hoping that whoever removed it, will return it ASAP.

It's a gray box (see photo below) clearly marked geocache and has a log book and some trackables inside the box.

Thank you so much to everyone who has picked up and dropped off books at our Little Free Farm Stand Library! It's so great to see the new additions daily! It is full of such great and varied options - something for everyone, literally! :)

I haven't posted here in awhile but I thought I'd jump on and say that the Library is doing so well! I love love love checking in on it and seeing new things almost every day! Thank you to all of you for stopping by, sharing your books, puzzles, games and other fun gifts with our community!

It is so beautiful and fully stocked with books for every age and lots of interests, magazines, puzzles, a building block set, and school supplies! It looks like this week will be a rainy one, perfect for inside activities - we have you covered! :)

Welcome!! We opened our library in the Spring of 2020… things were shutting down here in Washington because of COVID… libraries were closed, and people were looking for books and puzzle…

It was a very exciting weekend here at Stevens Homestead! My husband built us a new "little" library and it is beautiful and so farmy!! The books are completely safe from the weather and we have more space to fill it!

It wasn't easy getting it installed but team work makes the dream work and we did it - after we got this done, I'm pretty sure that we could move an elephant if that needed ever came up!! I'm so grateful to have a husband who knows how to do so many things, and so grateful to this community for sharing their books and love of reading!!

Now that we have four full usable shelves, we split the kid shelf into bigger kids and little kids and we have an entire shelf of readers and chapter books for the bigger school age kids - and later today, we'll be adding more little kid books and lots of games donated by friends who downsized!!

I was so excited to open up the library this morning! I was away from the homestead for the weekend, and there were several new additions! I have a few new books to rotate through this week, too! Thank you to everyone who swings through... it makes me so happy to see it change and grow and evolve!
