Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Let’s celebrate the vital role our bus drivers play by all doing our part to keep students safe. Please remember:

🛑 Always stop if you are traveling in the same direction as a school bus with its stop arm extended.
🛑 On a two-lane road, traffic in BOTH directions must stop
🛑 Even if you are not required to stop, proceed with caution, children may be nearby!
🛑 Failure to stop for a school bus can result in a $500 fine
🛑 Remember to travel 20 MPH in school zones and slow down where children are nearby

Let’s work together to protect our students and support the drivers who keep them safe every day.
