The Thurston County Judge is clearly not suited to enforce the law. This is a perfect reason Republicans, Independents and everyone with common sense must vote.for the 5 state supreme court races.

There's a lot of talk about taxes this year, and rightfully so. Taxes can have a positive impact on roads, safety and support systems, but too many taxes can drive the cost of living or doing business so high it drives relocation out of the state. The question is- Where is the right balance. I've included a link to the Tax Foundation website to a page that shows state comparisons. What are your thoughts? https://taxfoundation.org/location/washington/

How do Washington taxes compare to other states?

The state of Washington suffered some heartbreaking losses this weekend. Here's a little lighthearted, nonpartisan humor on the numbers behind voter participation. For the most reliable, up-to-date data, check out the Secretary of State's interactive tool (link in comments).

Voter turnout, by the numbers (Currently on SOS website, last updated Friday 7/24 ).

Okanagan county has 0% ballots returned, Ferry County 1% (unferrly rounding down) -- sending positive thoughts to bothyou and Stevens county, and praying for rain 🙏🏾🌧️

The numbers show only 2.2k ballots were rejected out of the 340k+ (which is really great👍🏾) With 5 Seats up for grabs on the Supreme Court, as of Friday only 6.7% of ballots have been returned (can't make this up). In 8 days, the PEOPLE will elect a MAJORITY of the 9 lawyers that make up the Supreme Court. Next week we'll decide which of the 10 lawyers will be on the ballot the first Tuesday in Month 11. So far, Jefferson County leads with 12% of ballots returned.

Let's not forget that the 13th amendment freed the slaves and that the 14th Amendment guaranteed *ALL PERSONS* --not just CITIZENS -- the Right to Due Process and Equal Protection under the Law.

Here's something you may not know: Every April 15, we celebrate the 16th Amendment (which allows IRS to collect an income tax the way it does today — no apportionment required.).

IN CLOSING

The average Primary turnout falls in the low 40%'s -- depending on the top of the ballot. But this year feels record breaking.

With 93% of ballots outstanding, there are plenty of voters to reach and it's anyone's ball game.

Don't you just love our Constitutional Republic?

Happy Voting Washington
🙂🗳️☑️🇺🇸
