Remember when we closed the park for 2 days for maintenance? Well, here's why:

We are excited to share the results of an incredible Eagle Scout project completed by Hudson Langlois and Scouts BSA Troop 123!

Hudson came before the Village Board with a vision to update, upgrade, and beautify Stanwood Buffalo Park as part of his Eagle Scout project. With the help of his fellow Scouts from Troop 123, that vision became a reality.

The amount of hard work, dedication, and pride that went into this project did not go unnoticed. Hudson truly went above and beyond, and the improvements made to our park will be enjoyed by our community for years to come.

On behalf of the Village of Stanwood, thank you to Hudson, Troop 123, their leaders, families, and everyone who helped make this project possible. Your commitment to serving your community is something to be proud of.

If you haven't stopped by Buffalo Park recently, we encourage you to do so! Take a walk through the park, enjoy the updates, and see firsthand the incredible work Hudson and Troop 123 accomplished.

If you happen to see Hudson around town, please take a moment to thank this amazing young man for helping make Stanwood an even better place to live. We are incredibly grateful for everything he and Troop 123 have done for our community! 💙🌳
