Just because we received a tiny rain shower does NOT mean the burn ban has been lifted!

🌡️ Temperatures are still extremely high.
🌾 Conditions remain dangerously dry.
🔥 Even a small fire or hot ember can quickly get out of control and threaten homes, property, and our community.

PLEASE DO NOT BURN & DO NOT THROW CI******ES OUT YOUR CAR WINDOW!!

Help protect your neighbors, our community, and our firefighters. Please follow the burn ban!

🔥 BURN BAN REMINDER 🔥

A burn ban means NO OUTDOOR BURNING. It only takes one tiny ember from a small fire to ignite dry grass, brush, or timber—and that small fire can quickly become a large wildfire, putting homes, property, and lives in danger.

The temperatures are extremely dangerous, the ground and vegetation are very dry, and unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any significant moisture headed our way anytime soon.

Please take the burn ban seriously and do not burn until the ban has been lifted.

Your neighbors, your community, our firefighters, and forestry personnel will greatly appreciate you doing your part to help prevent a wildfire. 🚒🔥

One small fire isn’t worth risking an entire community. Stay safe.

We do not see any improvement in the near future for the drought. Please remember that Lincoln County is currently under a burn ban! Please DO NOT BURN!!!!
