⭐️Summer Camp Update:
6/8-6/11: We were just notified of a potential access issue.

⭐️We will send a detailed email tomorrow with updates. As a precaution, our Plan B will be to use Boot Hill Park (next to the church and across from the new fire station) as the drop-off and pick-up location. Staff will walk the students from the park to the middle school.

⭐️At this time, we have been told that access to the middle school should remain open. However, we want to be prepared with an alternative plan if needed.

⭐️Please watch for an email tomorrow with additional details.

This past week we had the incredible opportunity to train all 136 of our summer staff members! ☀️

We love hiring local youth and giving them the chance to help create meaningful memories and experiences for our community here in Star.

Our training covered everything from behavior management and building an intentional camp experience, to creating fun games and activities with purpose, proper safety protocols, CPR certification, and so much more.

A huge thank you to Treasure Valley Bounce for bringing out the water slides so we could practice and reinforce proper water safety training in a hands-on way! They are our Go-To for all water fun this summer! 💦

We couldn’t end the week without a little friendly competition to build teamwork, connection, and a whole lot of fun among our staff and supervisors.
We start this week, and we could not be more prepared, excited, and ready to make this the best summer yet! ☀️🔥

A huge thank you to our Star ⭐️ Police POP Team for taking time out of their day to train our Freedom Rental staff in water safety and emergency preparedness! 👏

They walked our team through a variety of important scenarios including basic first aid, water safety, AED training, and emergency response readiness.

These 🚔officers are truly the best and work closely alongside our Freedom Rental staff to help keep our park safe. We are so ❤️grateful for their partnership, their time, and their commitment to our community.

Thank you for helping us stay trained, prepared, and ready for a busy and safe summer ahead! ☀️🚨
