Starbuck Police Department

Starbuck Police Department We appreciate your interest, and encourage you to visit us here often. The Police Department has four full time Officers.

By choosing to explore this site, you are showing the commendable desire to be more knowledgeable concerning your police department and the individuals who provide for your safety and security. The Officers of the Starbuck Police Department are not the sole guardians of law and order in our community. All citizens of this community should be observant and willing to report criminal activity and su

spicious behavior immediately. As stakeholders we are all responsible for paying attention to the problems that challenge every one of us on a daily basis. We must work together in partnership to successfully deal with these challenges in order to keep the Starbuck community safe and secure. Three others are employed on a part time intermittent basis. These officers serve a population of approximately 1,300. They patrol the community, respond to calls for service, investigate criminal activity, and assist ambulance and fire departments. This page you with a variety of information concerning the police department. You will find contact information, information about the structure of our organization, and pages about special programs we offer. We invite your comments, and look forward to continuing to work with you to make this community a better place to live. Office Phone: 320-239-8477 (During City of Starbuck Business hours)

It's that time of year, Starbuck!
Our City Clean-Up Day is coming up on June 6, from 9-12pm. Bring those old items you've been meaning to get rid of.
We're also in our Blight & Nuisance Enforcement period, so this is a helpful chance to tidy up and stay in compliance.
Thanks for doing your part to keep our town looking great!

City of Starbuck is in the process of implementing a new public alert system. At this time, we do not have a city specific alert platform in place.

Until our new system is active, we strongly encourage all residents to sign up for Emergency Alerts through Pope County Emergency Management. This allows us to send important notifications through their system when needed, along with getting Pope County Alerts.

Staying signed up ensures you receive timely updates about emergencies, utility issues, road closures, and other urgent community information.

Thank you for helping us keep our community informed and safe.

Heads up, drivers:
Minnesota laws on stopping for school buses has changed.
How about a $500 fine?
You must now stop at least 20 feet from the bus whenever the red lights are flashing. The stop arm does not have to be extended. This update closes a loophole where drivers previously may have tried to "beat the arm" when passing a bus - a risky move that puts children in danger.
Slowing down and adding that extra caution will help make sure every child can travel to and from school safely.
