Bradford County Public Library

(37)

The Bradford County Public Library opened its doors at this location as recently as October 26, 2007. The previous building located on Jackson Street measured approximately 4000 square feet, now roughly the size of our Children's Department. The Library is not simply about books! We put together frequent educational and social events for each age-group, and make available to the general public 28 internet-ready computers, free wireless, and study rooms. There is an on-site computer lab frequented by students of nearby Santa Fe College, most often utilized by the Library for Public Computer Training.

The library supplies the community with a variety of resources that include print material and online! The public has access to study rooms, free wireless, and 32 internet-computers. My friend from Green Cove and I showed up at the library to paint on Tues the 28th.(on the teal calendar for Jan.) and the ladies acted like they knew nothing about it. The event was removed from the xeroxed calendar copies. We left feeling like idiots until I got home and checked my calendar.

Come read my amazing book for free! It's called "I'm a Goddess?!" And it's the incredible story of a girl who discovers her divine nature with a little help from her mysterious friend, Leo.
Children's Dept January Calendar is out! :) Merry Christmas to you all.
Once again, the library put on a great adult program with "Murder at the Manor". Kathy and Jill and their accomplices outdid themselves (and we're still laughing)!! Thanks for "a party to die for!"
Not a bad idea from Neil Gaiman (author of Coraline and the Graveyard book):
The Friends meeting has been reschedule for Tuesday September 19, at 6:30. Ed should have schedule for volunteers for the Book Sale, October 5, 6, & 7. Plan to come and volunteer for the Book Sale

Just a Huge Thank You.. I love to watch my kids face when i say lets go library. They light up and know they will have great time. Mrs Kimberly Crawford Wheeler ALWAYS HELPS OUR SON DAVIN AND IT MEANS SO MUCH TO SEE PEOPLE TRULY CARE ABOUT THE KIDS.
If you know a student in grades K to 12 in need of breakfast and lunch this summer, text “FOOD” to 877877. You'll get a message back that asks you to text your zip code (you can also text the child's zip code). The next message you get will be a list of schools closest to that zip code where kids can get free meals this summer. No child deserves to go hungry, ever.
