This is a warning about Tesla car fires.
A car accident on Christmas Day caused a fire that required four tankers, over 10 rescue organizations and 36,000 of gallons of water to put out.

The catch? Not a single drop of gasoline was involved.

According to WIAT-TV, authorities in Pine Level, Alabama had such trouble putting out a fire caused by a Tesla accident on Interstate 65.

A message from Deputy Chief D. Pressey-
Christmas is coming and it sure doesn't feel like Christmas. We lost some food, some pipes prob froze up, had to spend Xmas money on extra generator fuel and so on... We all had our own struggles.
In Starks alone, we had a couple that had to be evacuated from their home via boat whom are now having to do some major repairs due to floodwater, we had a man that got trapped in his vehicle with water up to his neck for 20 min before a heroic neighbor paddled out, broke a window and kayaked him to safety. We had a hard working couple lose parts of their barn due to wind.
I know of 2 past residents of Starks that were completely put out of their homes, won't be back in, in time for Christmas. One being one of my best friends who was rebuilding his life after some hardships, lost 3 kids Christmas presents and everything on the first floor.
FD members never hesitated to jump up to those tones, go out in that windy, cold, wet mess and do what they could to help. Same with Police. Dispatch was overrun with calls all while keeping their calm.
Linemen are still out there, away from home, away from their families, working night and day hours on hours all while being yelled at and cursed out.
Lets remember to be grateful for what we have, remember to choose patience, remember not to judge when we don't know peoples situations.
Remember to just BE KIND. ❤️ Love. Lend a helping hand where you can. Buy the linemen a coffee. Support your local fire department, Police and Dispatchers.
🎄I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas🎄
And please never hesitate to ask for help, we live in a great community full of wonderful, caring people!
