Hey everyone! We are 4 weeks away from the start of Christmas Tree season! Woohoo! We are so excited and are continuing to get ready around here!

Lately we have been working to finish the fireplace, getting out brush for wreathes, and exercising horses!

Hey everyone! I know you haven't heard from us in a while, but we're excited and gearing up for a fun tree season here! Below are some important announcements for the season!

1) Book your Horse-Drawn OR Tractor ride on our website!

2) We open on Friday, November 28th and close Saturday, December 20th!

Hey everybody! We are 3 weeks away from the beginning of tree season! 😱

Here are some pictures of all that we've been up to lately including the NEWEST addition to our team! Meet Reba, our two year old, Percheron/Belgian cross! Reba will be doing half-days to relieve our oldest horse, Corina and get her hooves wet in her first year of working!

Okay everyone!

Today is open season for booking your Horse-Drawn, Tree & Ride Appointment 🎉! We are having our opening day on Friday, 11/29 10 AM - 4 PM. After that we will be open Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM - 4 PM with our closing day on Sunday 12/15. Check our website (www.therussellfarm.com) for availability and prices! After a great growing season, our lots have a great selection of trees! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions and we hope you all have a great weekend!😃

Hey Christmas tree family! We are 52 days away from Christmas Tree season!😱. With that on the horizon, we will be turning on our booking website THIS FRIDAY (10/11), which is exactly 7 weeks away from opening day (11/29). We are SO excited to have you all back (or for the first time 😉) for a magical season! Come out and cut your own tree in our South Lot, or book an appointment for a horse-drawn ride and tree via our website: www.therussellfarm.com

Hey Everyone! Eli would like to let you all know that we are officially done selling trees for the year BUT the fun doesn't have to end there!

This Saturday (12/16), we will be hosting a "Family Fun Day"! Whether you are a couple looking for a special date together outside, a family looking to get some energy out and make memories together, or someone who wants to get some fresh air and relax by a fire, we'll have something for everyone on this day! What does this day include you ask?

- A horse-drawn ride up to our cabin where there will be hot cocoa, cookies, and warm fires waiting!

- Crafts (ornament making, Christmas-card making, decorate your own ginger bread cookie, etc.) and games to play in the cabin!

- An ornament scavenger hunt through "Grandpa Dave's Woods" where you receive a small treat at the end if all the ornaments are found! (We are SUPER excited about this one!)

Hey everyone! Our South Lot is OFFICIALLY CLOSED for the season! Thank you all so much for coming out and supporting us the two days that we were open. We appreciate you all and hope you have a Merry Christmas!

PRE-CUT TREES will be available at the main farm starting TUESDAY, 11/28!

Hey everyone!

We are exactly ONE WEEK AWAY from Christmas Tree season! 🎄 Lately we have been staying busy with exercising the horses, collecting brush, making wreathes, and putting the new chimney in our cabin (with the help of our friend, Denver!).

Sadly the snow didn't stick around since this first picture was taken😢 but we're hoping we get some more before the tree season is over!

Just as a reminder, our South Lot will only be open Friday, 11/24 and Saturday, 11/25 and there are still appointments available for our horse-drawn rides + trees! You can find more information on our website: www.therussellfarm.com !

Hey y'all! We are 1 MONTH AWAY FROM OPENING DAY 😱

If you haven't checked it out yet, our booking website is LIVE!

You can check It out by heading over to our website; www.therussellfarm.com !

Just a reminder that we will be open 11/24, 11/25, 11/26, 12/02, 12/03, and 12/09 for a TREE AND RIDE.

We will have an additional day open on 12/16 for a RIDE (NO TREE) and added experience!

Lastly, our South Lot will ONLY be open on 11/24 and 11/25 and we will have pre-cuts in our main lot until they are all sold!

Today was our first day exercising the horses and they are wound up! 😤 I guess you could say they are just as excited for tree season as we are 😎

Hey Christmas tree family!

We hope you all have had a wonderful spring, summer and fall this year!😊 We are almost a month away from Christmas Tree season and we are SO excited to see all of you lovely people! Just wanted to put out some quick updates on what's going on this season and share some progress pictures of the cabin rebuild!

Tree Season updates:

1) Due to a low number of trees, our lower lot will be open Friday, 11/24 and Saturday, 11/25 only.

2) We will be opening reservations on our website for horse-drawn rides and trees this coming Tuesday, 10/24 (exactly one month before we open).

3) Our dates for a tree and ride will be 11/24, 11/25, 11/26, 12/2, 12/3, 12/9.

4) We will have reservations open for JUST a horse-drawn ride up to the cabin area with some other fun experience opportunities (more details to come). This option DOES NOT include a tree and will only take place on Saturday, 12/16.

5) The cabin will be open to go inside and check out and hopefully we will have a wood stove in there! 😃

6) Lastly, we have lost some sweet friends this year. Our beloved goat, Saphira passed away earlier this summer. Our sweet cow, "Mother" Mary (the last cow from our original dairy herd) passed last month. And one of our biggest and silliest horses, Emmett also passed earlier this summer.

There will be more info on our website next week under our "2023 Updates" tab that will include more info on the cabin and on our late friends.
