Rob Roberson for State Representative Rob Roberson serves as the Representative for the Mississippi House of Representatives, District 43

Businessman and attorney Rob Roberson is a Republican candidate for the Mississippi House of Representatives in the 43rd District. The newly created district includes Oktibbeha County and a portion of Winston County.

Roberson owns and operates Roberson Law Firm and Bulldog Development LLC. He graduated from Starkville High School and Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and received his Juris doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law. Roberson previously served in the legislature as Representative of the 37th district.

This is a big win for Starkville and Oktibbeha County, and it’s great to see companies choosing to grow right here in our community. Southwire, a wire and cable manufacturer, is expanding its operations in Starkville with an investment of more than $256 million.

The expansion will create 128 jobs.

Mississippi's Education Enhancement Fund (EEF) provides public K–12 teachers with state funding to purchase essential classroom supplies. To improve accessibility and streamline the purchasing process, the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) transitioned from physical procurement cards to the ClassWallet digital wallet platform, giving teachers faster and more convenient access to the funds they need for their classrooms.

We understand that some business owners and educators have expressed concerns regarding the implementation of the new program.
