A highlight of the differences between our designs and a store bought hook:

1st: Our trash hooks are made of a 3/4 inch rod as opposed to the smaller 5/8 rod of the store bought. This offers greater strength from bending.

2nd: The store bought hook’s heads are simply welded to the end of the handle where as ours have a tang providing greater strength when pulling or striking.

3rd: Our “New York” head has some key differences with the bill of it being 4 inches long instead of the standard 2 3/4 inches providing greater purchase on material. The drop tine is also narrow and sharpened to a point allowing superior pe*******on in materials such as tin or common roof construction.

This is our arrowhead hook. This design of hook excels at shiplap or tongue and groove construction which is commonly found in mill houses. It is often paired with a trash/arson hook in a six foot length. The one pictured has been in service well over a year and sustained heavy use in my home department.
