NEW data alert! 🚨 The latest State Of ALICE in Pennsylvania Report will launch on Wednesday, June 10.

Traditional poverty measures aren't telling the full story about financial hardship in our communities. Dig into fresh insights about Pennsylvanian households in poverty and ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) – with income above the poverty level but still short of the costs of basics.

Registration is now open for the 5th Community Diversity Conference — Together in Practice: Embracing and Implementing Inclusion.

Monday, June 29th | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center

Held every other year, this is your chance to join community members, leaders, and advocates for a full day of learning and dialogue. This year features a keynote panel facilitated by DJ Saballos (Managing Director, World in Conversation, Penn State), 12 breakout sessions, the Support for Diversity Awards, and much more!

Registration: $100 per person — includes lunch and two refreshment breaks.

Throughout Pride Month, we celebrate the contributions, experiences, and diversity of LGBTQ+ individuals and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Stronger Together. Smarter Together. United Together.

Last week, members of the Centre County United Way team joined more than 400 United Way professionals, volunteers, and community leaders from across the Northeast region in Bethlehem, PA for the United Way Northeast Regional Conference.

Over three days, we connected with colleagues from more than 10 states, explored innovative approaches to community impact, shared ideas, learned from one another, and returned home energized for the work ahead.

From discussions on fundraising, volunteer engagement, communications, and community partnerships to conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing our communities, the conference reinforced a powerful truth:

When United Ways work together, communities grow stronger.

Thank you to United Way Worldwide and our regional partners for creating opportunities to learn, collaborate, and inspire one another. We can't wait to put these ideas into action here in Centre County.
