‼️ 9-1-1 Service Restored ‼️

Throughout the evening, Centre County 9-1-1 staff have worked closely with leadership from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), the state’s 9-1-1 call provider, and public safety answering points across the Commonwealth to address the effects of a statewide 9-1-1 call delivery disruption.

We are happy to inform you that 9-1-1 call delivery throughout Pennsylvania has now returned to normal. The Centre County 9-1-1 Communications Center is operating normally again, and the public can confidently call 9-1-1 in case of an emergency.

We genuinely thank the public for their patience and understanding during this time. Please refrain from calling 9-1-1 to “test” the system, as emergency officials have already conducted thorough tests and confirmed it is working. Misusing 9-1-1 lines can hinder response efforts for actual emergencies.
