PFMS Music had a great adjudication trip to the Music in the Parks Festival at Hershey Park last Friday, May 29. Be sure to congratulate a music student if you see them as we brought home amazing results:

Jazz Band: Excellent Rating, 2nd Place
Symphonic Band: Excellent Rating,1st Place
Orchestra: Superior Rating,1st Place
8th Grade Choir: Superior Rating, 1st Place and Best Overall Choir of the day!

Our students were incredible representatives of our school community and we are so proud of their hard work. Thank you for supporting the music program at our school; we are proud to be part of a school community that inspires and teaches the whole child.

PFMS held a Self-Care Summit as part of Mental Health Awareness month. Thank you to Jana Marie Foundation for your visit during lunches. Students signed up for a variety of activities during AREA including board games, hair and nails, coloring, stress balls and more. Fun way to end the week!

Mr. Tranell's 3/4 Academic Literacy class and his 6th grade PAWS students helped clean up our school grounds for Earth Day! It's a good reminder for each and every student and adult to do their part and be sure to keep track of snack wrappers and other litter. Thank you for helping to keep the PFMS grounds a litter free school zone!
