In observance of Memorial Day, Centre Region Parks and Recreation offices, including Administration, Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, and the Active Adult Center, will be closed on Monday, May 25.

Today, we pause to honor and remember those who served and sacrificed for our country.

Please take a few minutes to watch the video of Susan Hart, Nature Center Supervisor, read the article (link in the comments), and share your feedback through the survey linked in the post below. Thank you for helping shape the future of the marsh experience.

In the middle of busy schedules, constant notifications, and everyday stress, parks and outdoor spaces give us something important — room to slow down, recharge, and reconnect.

Whether it’s a quiet walk on a trail, time under the trees, or simply spending a few moments outside, these spaces support mental, physical, and emotional well-being every day.

Centre Gives is happening today and tomorrow — from 8 AM on May 6 through 8 PM on May 7.

Your support helps care for the parks, trails, programs, and community spaces that make these moments possible across the Centre Region.

Every gift makes a difference.
