What an incredible 36 hours for our community!

Through Centre Gives, more than $2.5 million was contributed to over 200 nonprofit organizations across Centre County. We are beyond grateful to everyone who showed up, shared posts, encouraged friends and family, and made a gift to support local nonprofits.

A special THANK YOU to the 390 donors who helped raise more than $110,000 for the State College Food Bank. Your generosity will directly help us continue providing food assistance to our neighbors facing rising grocery and living costs.

The support, kindness, and compassion shown throughout Centre Gives is a reminder of what an amazing community we have. Thank you for standing with us and with so many organizations working every day to make Centre County stronger. 💚

Day 2 of Centre Gives 🎉 Let’s keep it going!

To everyone who has already given 💛 thank you. You are already making a real impact, and we are so grateful.

We know your feed is full right now. There is a lot of noise. But here is what matters:
✨ Every single donor counts
✨ Even a $10 gift can unlock bonus funds
✨ Small gifts add up fast and go straight to work in our pantry

If you have been thinking “I will sit this one out” or “my gift is too small” this is your moment. It truly makes a difference.

🔥 Help us build momentum today
🔥 Help us reach more neighbors
🔥 Help us make the most of the available stretch pool funds

And if you already gave, thank you for being part of something powerful. We are so glad you are in this with us 💛

Give now and be part of it ✨

We know some people connect with stories, while others look to the numbers. If you’re someone who appreciates the data, here’s a snapshot of what’s happening at the State College Food Bank:

In just the first four months of 2026, we’ve distributed over 225,000 pounds of groceries through our pantry. Each month, we’re serving more than 550 households—that’s 1,300 to 1,400+ individuals relying on our shelves for support.

At the same time, our costs continue to rise. In 2021, the average cost of food was about $0.65 per pound. Today, it’s closer to $0.80 per pound. With gas prices and everyday expenses also increasing, the pressure on our pantry—and our community—keeps growing.

Your support helps us keep shelves stocked with essential groceries and ensures we can continue operating at full capacity to meet this need.

If you’re able, please consider “giving where you live” today or tomorrow during Centre Gives. Every dollar makes a meaningful difference right here in our community.

Centre Gives is in full swing 🎉 and here at the State College Food Bank, the work keeps moving. 💪

While the community shows up in a big way, our staff and volunteers are behind the scenes every hour:

All to keep up with a growing need that is not slowing down.

💛 Every task, every shift, every donation brings us closer to our mission, to provide food security to people right here in Centre County.

As we keep the work going, will you stand with us?

Your gift during Centre Gives helps meet urgent needs today and keeps us ready for what comes next.
