Accessibility is often overlooked by many of us, yet for people with disabilities, it presents a daily challenge. Whether it’s maneuvering through public areas or getting essential services, obstacles can hinder their ability to partake in the same activities that we often enjoy.

Each of us has a part to play in fostering a more inclusive community. Together we can advocate for change and hold our communities responsible for ensuring that everyone can experience life without barriers!

Good Day Cafe opened 8 years ago today! What an incredible journey this has been. We sincerely appreciate all the love and support you have poured into our cafe for these last 8 years. We are excited to announce that two of our team members have been recognized by Devereux for their unwavering dedication to our mission!

Brandy Roane, a Mental Health Program Supervisor, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Supervisory Excellence Award! Brandy leads by example and fosters a positive work environment that is respectful, flexible, and supportive. She helps our team members achieve their personal and professional best. Thank you, Brandy, for all you do for Strawberry Fields and your team. Congratulations!

Chris McLellan, a Mental Health Case Manager is a recipient of the Thomas Donovan Culture of Caring Award, which recognizes staff who go above and beyond each day to help the people we serve reach their full and unique potential. Congratulations to Chris on this well-deserved recognition and for her exemplary service to Strawberry Fields and the people we serve!
