Our 4th and 5th graders got a special introduction to the SCASD instrumental music program today. A huge thank you to our talented 5th graders who helped demonstrate all the different instruments available to play this year, and to Mr. Shawley and Ms. Steinbacher for putting together such an informative assembly!

Students also learned about our chorus options for the upcoming school year. Keep an eye out for more information coming home with your student today!

Big congratulations to our 5th-grade STAR Ambassadors for September! Throughout the month, these leaders will meet with Dr. Mark, pass out STAR tickets to fellow classmates, and take an active role in our Pinwheels for Peace assembly.

We love seeing our oldest students lead by example as they practice our core values every day:

Our brand-new kindergarteners had an absolute blast during their very first full day of school. They went on a school-wide hunt to track down the runaway Gingerbread Boy, made new friends on the playground, and jumped headfirst into learning.

And just like that… we’re back!

Here are a few snapshots from our first day of school! We were SO happy to see all those smiling faces, hear the halls buzzing again, and officially kick off another great year at Corl Street!

And tomorrow, it’s Kindergarten’s turn! We can’t wait to welcome our youngest Cougars for their very first full day of school.
