A Little School With A Lot of Heart

Brady's curricula offerings include curriculum and instruction that designed and implemented using the Science of Reading, Arkansas State Standards, and Cognitively Guided Instruction. Two Self-Contained classrooms which implement Community Based Instruction (CBI) are offered for students who have significant cognitive disabilities. We also offer a Gifted and Talented program for students who have been identified through testing and observations to be functioning at a higher cognitive level. An after-school tutoring program in math, literacy, and the arts is offered to support and reinforce the academic programs. Technology-based program,s such as Lexia Learning, are used to reinforce and strengthen skills in math and literacy.

Brady's clubs include Student Council, Mathletes, Quiz Bowl, Science Club, Technology Club, Math Club, Diversity Club, Recycling Club, Art Club, Music Club, Peer Helpers, and the Brady Bulldog Singers.

History: The original school structure was built in the early 1920's and administered by the Pulaski County Special School District. During the 1950's, the Little Rock city limits expanded to include the Brady neighborhood. At this time, the Little Rock School District assumed operation of the present modern brick structure. The facility has attractive landscaping and an appealing playground, and it provides students with a comfortable learning environment.
