🚨 SCAM ALERT / STOLEN PROPERTY 🚨

Yesterday (6/5/26), an individual purchased a 2026 John Deere XUV 845M side-by-side from Blanchard Equipment Company in Statesboro, Georgia using a stolen identity. This individual is now in custody.

We have reason to believe he may also be attempting to scam another person by selling this stolen ATV to an unsuspecting buyer, possibly in the Effingham or Chatham County area. Anyone who purchases this ATV could unknowingly be in possession of stolen property.

Some of our SROs are out at OTC this beautiful morning helping teach new teen drivers in our community about the dangers and severity of distracted driving.
