This amazing family showed that it’s never too early to start caring for your community! 👶 During The Greatest American Cleanup here in The Boro, they brought along what may be our youngest KSBB volunteer to date, less than one-year-old 🧤🦺

Together, this family helped remove six bags of litter, a discarded tire, and several other unique artifacts from one of our community parks. Their efforts contributed to more than 400 pounds of litter removed by 50+ volunteers that came out in May to cleanup across the city of Statesboro during this nationwide 250th celebration of service and giving back to our communities. A huge THANK YOU to for your continued support and helping us Cleanup The Boro, as well as for inspiring change across the nation.

If you missed it, there’s still time to support the and Join the Challenge before July 4, 2026 🇺🇸

we are so grateful for families like this who help keep our community clean, green, and beautiful. Thank you for proving that making a difference is a family affair and that our next generation of environmental stewards is already “On The Way”. 🎶🌱

It’s World Wetlands Month💧🌿

Wetlands help filter water, reduce flooding, protect wildlife habitats, and keep ecosystems healthy, making them some of the hardest-working natural spaces in our communities.

Here in Statesboro, we’re fortunate to have our very own vital wetland ecosystem at a natural space that provides critical habitat for endangered and native species while helping protect the health of our local environment.

Swipe to learn more about why wetlands matter and how protecting them helps create cleaner, healthier, more beautiful places for all.

And if you’re ready to take action, schedule a cleanup with KSBB or RSVP for a garden together day at the Statesboro Community Garden and help protect the spaces that support us! 🌎🐊

What a beautiful morning for the Greatest American Cleanup in the Boro! 🌎🦺

This past Saturday, neighbors, friends, families, City staff, KSBB Board members, and even our Mayor came together to make a difference across Statesboro and it was truly fun for all ages! From picking up litter to sharing laughs and community spirit, every volunteer helped make an impact as we work to keep Statesboro clean, green, and beautiful for America’s 250th 🇺🇸♻️

A huge thank you to and for sponsoring pizza for everyone after the cleanup! 🍕 We’re also incredibly grateful to the for awarding KSBB a microgrant that provided all the cleanup supplies like trash grabbers, safety vests, gloves, buckets, and awesome volunteer t-shirts and hats!
