We’re proud to spotlight Assistant District Attorney Candace DeLoach, who was recently invited to present at the Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) Gang Conference: From the Cells to the Streets.

ADA DeLoach joined GGIA President and Gang Expert Jose Ramirez and Bulloch County Sheriff's Office Gang Investigator Austin Williams to present a case study involving a jail assault connected to the Bloods. Their presentation emphasized the critical partnership between prosecutors, gang investigators, gang experts, and law enforcement agencies throughout every stage of a case.

Strong collaboration is essential to building successful prosecutions, enhancing public safety, and combating gang-related crime in our communities.

Thank you to the Georgia Gang Investigators Association for the opportunity to be part of this year’s conference.

Today, a Bulloch County jury found Robert Brandon Keller guilty on all 10 counts in the October 2024 murder of Bruce Dupree.

The case was prosecuted by Acting District Attorney Jillian Gibson and Assistant District Attorney Renorda Herring, who comprise the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office Major Crimes Team.

Following the jury's verdict, Judge Matthew Hube sentenced Keller to two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole, plus an additional 25 years to serve.

The Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office extends its gratitude to the Georgia State Patrol, Bulloch County Sheriff's Office, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab, EMS, witnesses, victim advocates, forensic experts, and court personnel whose professionalism and dedication helped secure today's verdict.

We also thank the members of the jury for their careful attention, thoughtful deliberation, and faithful service throughout the trial.

Finally, our thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of Bruce Dupree. While no verdict or sentence can erase their loss, today's outcome ensures accountability and reflects our continued commitment to seeking justice for victims and our community.
