There is a flyer circulating about “free athletic shoes from VA,” this is a fake promotion and is not from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Please note that, although the flyer lists the MyVA 1 800 number, the flyer itself is not authorized to promote or use it.

Do not share any personal or financial information and ignore or delete this message if you receive it.

Today, I’m taking a moment to honor the incredible legacy of women who have worn the uniform — past, present, and future. I’m proud to stand among the women who stepped forward, raised their right hand, and served with strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment.
These photos are a small piece of my own journey in service, but they represent something much bigger:
the courage of every woman veteran who has broken barriers, carried the weight of duty, and helped shape our nation’s military.

A fake “Veteran Giveback Program 2025” postcard is circulating, claiming veterans may receive extra money added to their Social Security checks. This is a scam.
