This week along The Path to the Table, we are recognizing the Table Hosts who help turn a shared meal into an opportunity for meaningful conversation and new relationships.

Table Hosts help welcome guests, lead conversations and encourage everyone at their table to participate. They help guests get to know one another, keep the conversation flowing and create an atmosphere where every person feels comfortable, included and engaged.

🏠 Do you live in Iredell County and need a new roof?

I-CARE and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency 's NC Housing Trust Fund may be able to help.

We are now accepting applications for the 2027 Urgent Repair Program (URP) for qualified homeowners in Iredell County.

The program provides **roof replacements** for eligible very low- and low-income homeowners with special needs, including frail elderly individuals and persons with disabilities. Services are provided based on eligibility, application score, and available funding.

This week along The Path to the Table, we are recognizing the volunteers who prepare food, organize supplies, move meals and help set up the spaces that welcome our neighbors.

Long before guests take their seats, kitchen, food-preparation and setup volunteers are already at work. Their teamwork helps ensure that meals are ready, tables are prepared and everything is in place for our community to gather.

To every past volunteer who has carried a tray, arranged a table, organized supplies, prepared food or stepped in wherever help was needed: thank you. Your time, care and support helped transform a shared meal into a meaningful community experience.
