| Join us in congratulating Mr. Nicholas Lord on his new role as the principal of Weathers Creek High School. He officially started his new role this week.

“We are excited for Mr. Lord to lead Weathers Creek High School,” explained Superintendent Dr. Jeff James. “Mr. Lord has showcased his strengths while at West Iredell Middle School, building relationships throughout the community and helping students grow in knowledge and confidence.”

Mr. Lord began his career in 2007 as a science teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and continued in that role until 2013, when he served as a Dean of Students. Mr. Lord served as an assistant principal for ten years before his time as the principal at West Iredell Middle School. Mr. Lord was most recently named the Iredell-Statesville Schools Principal of the Year.
