Twenty-three years ago today, the fire service and our community lost Firefighter Randy Jones of the Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department, and Iredell rescue squad. Though the years have passed, his dedication, courage, and commitment to serving others are not forgotten.

Today we pause to honor Randy's memory and the sacrifice he made. His legacy lives on through those who continue to answer the call, serving with the same selflessness and devotion he exemplified.

Please join us in remembering Firefighter Randy Jones.
