Boomerang Skills and Workshop w/Makerspace

Become a maker in this hands-on, high-flying class, where you’ll learn the ancient art and modern science behind crafting your very own boomerang. We’ll guide you step-by-step through shaping, sanding, and balancing your creation, all while sharing the secrets that make it spin, soar, and return like magic. Fit Fridays w/ Flame Fitness
Start your day off right with a Flame Fitness morning workout. Join us at 8am on Friday mornings in the Nelson Street Center for a high intensity interval training workout (HIIT). These workouts are welcome to anyone at the beginner and intermediate levels and is a great environment to challenge yourself physically. Instructor: Jocelyn Jazwinski with Flame Fitness. Ages: 18+. Learn to Swim

Come learn about water safety with Staunton Parks and Rec. In this four-week course we will cover safety in and around the water for children ages 5-10. Participants will develop comfortability in the water through developing essential water skills like floating, treading water, controlling breathing, and basic swimming strokes. MHP Pool. Pickle Picnic in the Park - This Weekend!

All are welcome to this FREE community event! Whether or not you play pickleball or whether you are part of a team, a pickleball group, or just friends who enjoy the game you are invited to this gathering to socialize off the courts, meet a few new people, and share a meal. Laugh with friends over some pickleball-inspired trivia questions and maybe find a friend or two to have a game! Bring a side or dessert to share.
