🚘🏁The 100 Years of Route 66 Car Show is just days away...

🍕And we'd like to that all of the Food Trucks & Vendors who have currently reserved their spots for the 100 Years of Route 66 Car Show!

🎉We look forward to celebrating a Century of the Mother Road with all of you on 📅Sunday June 14th from 🕛Noon to 4:00pm!

We are just a few days away from taking over downtown Staunton and we couldn’t be more excited! Sunday June 14th - Noon - 4pm!!

The forecast right now shows a chance of some rain in the morning, but temperatures are expected to settle into the 70s for the day — if that holds true, it’s going to be an awesome day to enjoy cars, music, food, and Route 66.

We currently have 65 registered vehicles and are anticipating 100+ cars throughout the event!

A few classes that do not currently have participants:
🏁 Tractor
🏁 Motorcycles (Pre-1980)
🏁 Tri-Five Chevy ('55, '56, '57)
🏁 Original ('32–'39)
🏁 Original ('40–'49)
🏁 Street Rod ('70 and Up)

Know someone with one of these vehicles? Invite them to come join us!

📅 Event Timeline:
⏰ 8:00 AM – Street closures & event setup begin
🍔 10:00 AM – Food trucks & vendors arrive (North Street near the old fire hall)
🚘 10:30 AM – Vehicle arrival, photography & registration opens
➡️ Enter from Elm Street near Associated Bank and the Oltmann Center
📝 12:30 PM – Registration closes for judging (cars still welcome afterward!)
🏆 1:00 PM – Judging begins
🎉 3:30–4:00 PM – Awards Presentation

🎶 Whiskey River will be downtown providing live music!

We had great teamwork on Main Street today as the planters made their way back in place now that construction is done. Special thanks to Nick Russell of Russell Furniture & Floor Coverings for helping to move all the planters. We also had gracious donations of flowers from Mullins & Mayfields Landscaping to ensure all the remaining planters were filled, and the planting was done by volunteers from Net Community Church. It was a busy day and we are one step closer to Sunday's car show!

We’ve seen a few questions and comments regarding late registrations for the Staunton Car Show, so we wanted to provide a quick clarification.

If you have not pre-registered, no worries — day-of registration will still be available! However, if you pre-register, it will guarantee you a t-shirt and a dash plaque. Payment is due at the time of the event.

✨ IMPORTANT PAGEANT UPDATE ✨

After weeks of promotion and outreach, we have made the difficult decision to move forward with ONLY the MISS division (ages 16–19) for the Miss Staunton Chamber of Commerce Pageant. 👑

We truly hoped to bring back all age divisions this year, but unfortunately we did not receive enough contestants in the younger categories to provide the experience those girls deserve.

To the families and contestants who signed up for the younger divisions — we sincerely apologize and greatly appreciate your support and understanding. ❤️ Any entry fees already paid will be fully refunded.

The GOOD news is that the MISS division has received an amazing response, and registration has officially been EXTENDED through FRIDAY, JUNE 19! 📣
