Our Stayton Eagles Baseball team is headed to Scappoose for their 4A Quarterfinal matchup (5:00 PM). They’re looking to punch their ticket to the Semifinals.

Our amazing parents and community has organized a police es**rt out of town at 1:30 PM for those who want to show up and show their support.

Congratulations, Stayton Highschool OHSET on a fantastic year! You all accomplished so much as a team, and we could not be more proud of you.

We had a great time at our FIRST Annual Stayton Highschool OHSET Awards night! This incredible group of kids were the very first in my nearly seven season coaching career to receive Varsity letters from Stayton High School! This moment was something I’ve worked tirelessly to advocate for my entire career at Stayton OHSET! I’m so happy we are being embraced by school and Stayton Booster Club again and can’t wait for the future!!

Thank you for my Head Advisor Shantell Exe and Treasurer Amanda Jean Spees and Parent Advisor Kristin Kosel for helping me all year!

🦅 Let’s hear it for Caleb Larsen and Devin Hatfield! 🦅

This morning, our phenomenal doubles duo takes the courts at Oregon State University to compete in the OSAA Boys' Tennis State Championship Tournament! 🎉

After an incredible run last week—clinching a 2nd place finish in the league—Caleb and Devin punched their tickets to the big stage. Today, all that grueling practice, fierce dedication, and undeniable heart face the ultimate test.

Caleb and Devin, you have already made Stayton High School so incredibly proud. The way you represent Eagle Pride—both on and off the court—is an inspiration to our entire community.

🦅 OWC CHAMPIONS!! 🦅

FINAL: Stayton Eagles 13, Sweet Home Huskies 5

Talk about a Senior Night for the history books! 🎓⚾️ Tonight, our boys didn’t just win the game—they officially CLINCHED THE 2026 OREGON WEST CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP!

From the first pitch to the final out, the energy tonight was phenomenal. A huge shoutout to our incredible seniors who played their hearts out on their home field for their final regular season game. This group of young men has shown unparalleled grit, leadership, and Eagle pride all year long.

Behind every great team is a great leader. A huge congratulations to Coach Baker and the entire coaching staff! They have guided this squad to an absolutely dominant 21-5 regular season record, proving week after week why this team is so special. The regular season might be winding down, but these Eagles are just getting warmed up. Let’s carry this 21-5 momentum straight into the postseason!

🌟 Celebrating Excellence: Molly Cox Named May Rotary Student of the Month! 🌟

Stayton High School is incredibly proud to announce Molly Cox as our Stayton Area Rotary Student of the Month for May! Molly is a dynamic student leader whose high-level academic performance is matched only by her deep dedication to her school and family. With a stellar 3.94 GPA, Molly consistently demonstrates excellence in the classroom, earning academic awards in both Business and English. She is a dedicated member of the National Honor Society, and beyond her academics, Molly is a pillar of leadership at SHS, serving as our FBLA President, Student Athletic Director, and an active member of the SOAR Council and LINK Crew.

⚾ An Athlete and a Mentor
Molly’s energy is felt all across our campus—from the athletic fields to our local community. Molly is a 3-year Varsity Softball player and earned an Honorable Mention for the infield in the Oregon West Conference during the 2024 season. She is also a 2-year Varsity Volleyball athlete and has served as a Volleyball Team Manager. She shares her leadership skills as an Outdoor School Counselor and works as a barista at Rosie’s Mountain Coffee House in Mill City.

❤️ Family First
What truly sets Molly apart is her enormous heart. She deeply values her blended family and makes a conscious effort to be present and supportive for her three siblings. With two siblings who navigate the world with autism and developmental delays, and another who joined her family through adoption, Molly prioritizes making sure every member of her family feels seen, included, and profoundly loved.

🚔 Future Aspirations
Molly has clear and ambitious plans for her future in public service. After graduating in 2026, she plans to dual-enroll at Chemeketa Community College and Western Oregon University to earn a degree in Criminal Justice. Her ultimate goal is to attend the Police Academy and become a Police Officer, eventually pursuing a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology to work as a crime analyst with the police force.

There is still time to support the Stayton FFA during their annual plant sale this Friday and Saturday! The greenhouse (located near the school auditorium) will be open for business on 5/8 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm and on 5/9 from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. They have annuals, perennials, vegetable starts and hanging baskets and it's all in time for Mother's Day!
