"Preserving Routt County’s open space and agricultural industry will be a top priority of mine as your County Commissioner. Our agriculture has an impact on almost everything in Routt County, most specifically tourism. Visitors are drawn to this valley for its natural beauty; they come here for the ranching, for the horseback riding, for the “true western spririt” and heritage – and so preserving and supporting this industry is key to that."
