Town of Steele Steele is a small town in the northeastern tip of St. Located in the northeastern corner of St. As of the 2010 census, the population of Steele was 1,043.

FYI...The Steele Station Road Railroad Crossing will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 3/24/26. The railroad personal does not know the time this will occur, but it will be closed for 3 to 5 hours. Then again on Thursday 3/26/26, the Steele Station Road Crossing will be closed again for another 3 to 5 hours. They tell us once they leave Thursday, the project will be complete. Railroad personal cannot give us an exact time for either day. This is your advance warning, so plan accordingly.
