NDSU Extension - Kidder County Creating learning partnerships that help adults and youth enhance their lives and communities. Our efforts are funded by county, state and federal government.

We extend education to North Dakota residents of all ages and walks of life. You’ll find us at work in your county, at Research Extension Centers and at the main campus of North Dakota State University. As North Dakotans work to improve their lives, we’re there to help. Our efforts have a special emphasis on strengthening agriculture and developing the potential of youth, adults and communities. W

e have a rich history of extending North Dakota’s land-grant university. Federal legislation established Extension in 1914, but years before that our predecessors were extending education through lectures, institutes, tours, fairs and demonstrations. OUR PROGRAM PRIORITIES

What a great weekend!

The Kidder County Hippology team spent the last 3 days competing at the state contest. They worked extremely hard all year and we're proud of all of them!

Public speaking contest:
Piper and Taydem Fischer received 2nd place in Junior Team Demonstration
Gracie Barnick received 2nd place in the Junior Speech division.

Hippology:
Violet, Savannah, Jameson, Ehli placed 2nd in intermediate horse judging.
Gracie, Kaitlyn, Brileigh placed 3rd in intermediate horse judging.

Quizbowl:
3rd place team
Ehli Berg received 5th place junior high individual
