🚒 Open House 2026 — A Huge Success! 🚒

The Steelton Fire Department would like to sincerely thank everyone who came out tonight to support our Open House and spend time meeting and connecting with our first responders. Your support means so much to us and helps strengthen the bond between our department and the community we proudly serve.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our mutual aid partners for helping make the evening such a success:

🚤 Swatara Fire 91 — Thank you for bringing the boat!
🚒 Citizen's Fire Company #1 of Highspire Thank you for bringing the apparatus!
🚒 Paxtang Fire Company No. 1— Thank you for joining us with the rescue and supporting the event!
🚒 Lower Swatara Fire Department— Thank you for bringing the smoke trailer and providing such a great experience for everyone!

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support and partnership of our neighboring departments. Without our mutual aid partners, tonight would not have been nearly as successful or memorable.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Open House a great night‼️

Stay safe, Steelton! 🚒5️⃣0️⃣🔥

The Steelton Volunteer Fire Department is proud to have put together 50 “Cooper Care Kits” in support of the World Surgical Foundation.

These care packages will be sent to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, as part of an upcoming surgical mission trip, where they will help provide comfort and support to patients receiving life-changing care.

This mission holds a special meaning for our department. The World Surgical Foundation once helped save the life of Cooper, the son of one of our close supporters. We are honored to have the opportunity to give back to an organization that has made such a profound difference in the lives of those in our community.

We are grateful to be able to support the World Surgical Foundation and their continued mission of providing hope, healing, and life-changing surgical care to those in need. ❤️🚒
