I realize it’s only August, but the holidays are right around the corner and the books we have for sale by two local authors would make excellent gifts.

Did you know we have some lovely Florida-themed artwork for sale? All proceeds go toward new books and/or upgrades to the library. These pieces were handmade quite a few years ago by local artist Susan Archibald. We are here until 4:00 today.

Guest Author alert! Next Saturday, August 22nd, the Farmers’ Market will be back at the Steinhatchee Community Center from 9-1. Our Guest Author Dawn Perez will be stationed outside the library with copies of her new book for sale and signing. Please join us and support Taylor County’s own, Dawn Perez. Dawn’s book, Survival Stories of a Gen X Childhood will have you laughing, crying, and fondly reminiscing all at the same time.
