Teacher Appreciation Week is here, and we are proud to kick off a week dedicated to recognizing the incredible educators who make Uplift such a special place.

Our teachers build meaningful connections, support students through challenges, celebrate growth, and create a learning environment where every student feels seen and supported no matter where they come from. In a virtual setting, that impact takes an extra level of intention, creativity, and care.

Uplift in the WILD!🦁

Over Spring Break, our Superintendent, Mrs. Lowry, had the opportunity to visit Congaree National Park in South Carolina alongside fellow educator Ms. Simmonds—both participants in the Expeditions in Education: STEAM in the Park program.

This unique experience connects educators with our National Parks, helping bring science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to life in meaningful, real-world ways. 🌎

Mrs. Lowry and Ms. Simmonds are among a dedicated group of Uplift educators who have participated in these expeditions over the past several years. Through this program, they gain hands-on experiences that translate directly into richer learning opportunities for students.
