📣FCCLA NATIONAL RESULTS📣
Stephenville FCCLA is thrilled to celebrate Mia Inocencio and Lilly Cummings for placing 3rd in Focus on Children, Level Three at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference! This was a very competitive event, and medaling at the national level is a tremendous accomplishment.

These two ladies hosted Shake It Off, a five-part series of Zumba-inspired, dance-based workout classes to teach our community about the importance of fitness and nutrition. During each session, they led kids through three high-energy dances, presented a slideshow on the benefits of staying active, and provided a healthy snack.

The first three classes were held after school at SHS. They later presented to Gilbert Intermediate’s morning PE classes and the Treehouse after-school program. In total, our Shake It Off classes Impacting the lives of 244 children.

These classes were offered completely free of charge to our community, thanks to the generosity of the Stephenville FCCLA Blue Chapter members’ donations.

A huge shoutout to Professor Paula McKeehan for her expertise and guidance. And a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Crouch and Mrs. Ivey for your unwavering support of Shake It Off!
