Turnbow Higgs American Legion Post 240 laid wreaths at West End Cemetery on Saturday December 13th for Wreaths Across America.

We had 84 wreaths donated for this year.
Donations for next year are open if you are still in need of a charitable donation by the end of the year, this is a perfect one. There are 310 Veteran gravesites at West End Cemetery.

Sadly, NTTA (DFW area) does not currently waive tolls for veterans due to bond obligations.

ATTENTION!!!! IF YOU NEED A CHARITABLE TAX DEDUCTION THIS POST IS FOR YOU!!!
American Legion Post 240 is still in need of donations for Wreaths Across America for West End Cemetery. As of now they only have 45 wreaths sponsored. They are short 265 wreaths for all of the Veterans at that cemetery.
The wreaths are $17 each.
So, if you are needing to spend some money before the end of tax season, this is the perfect opportunity.

Please join us for the Veterans Day Ceremony at the Erath County Courthouse from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Coffee and donuts provided by InterBank, Erath County United Way and Cold Smoke.

A free Veterans Day Luncheon at the First Baptist Church Paradigm Building from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and a free Veterans Day Dinner at Chick-fil-A from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
