Erath Co Veteran Service Office

Erath Co Veteran Service Office The Erath County Veteran Service Office is a VA benefits adviser for veterans, their survivors.

We assist veterans, their survivors and beneficiaries, FREE OF CHARGE, with filing for benefits from the VA and the State of Texas. We help the veteran and their survivor complete all of the paperwork necessary to file benefit claims and we provide our expertise and assistance from the submission of the claim until a decision has been made by the VA. Although we cannot adjudicate claims, we can pr

ovide advice about various programs and eligibility requirements and assist in completing the forms and other correspondence necessary to file a claim or an appeal. We will also assist in resolving problems and getting answers to questions about the laws and regulations that govern veterans' benefits.

Veterans,

Texan Therapeutic Riding is currently seeking veterans and their families for a research study focused on the potential benefits of working with horses through adaptive horsemanship.

This project is about more than research. It’s an opportunity to spend time together, reflect on experiences, and be part of something that may help support and inform future work with veterans and military families. Participants will take part in adaptive horsemanship lessons, surveys, a family interview, and a veteran oral history interview as part of the study.

If this sounds like something you or your family might be interested in, please take a look at the flyer or reach out with questions. And even if it’s not the right fit for you, please consider sharing it with other veterans who may benefit from the opportunity.

Thank you, as always, for your service and sacrifice.
