The Erath County Sheriffs Office and TXDOT would like everyone to know that County Road 351 is CLOSED at Bell Bridge near County Road 497.
We have received information that people are moving and attempting to drive around the TXDOT barricades. THIS IS A VIOLATION of Texas Transportation Code 472.021, Tampering With Warning Devices, and is a Class B Misdemeanor. That’s not “just a ticket” folks. That’s jail time.
There is a clearly marked detour off of US377 South on County road 374. Please use it.
