Rest easy brother. Our thoughts and prayers with your family.

After extensive life-saving efforts conducted by the Baylor Scott and White medical professionals, it has been determined that Trooper Chad Walker no longer displays signs of viable brain activity and he remains on life-support until he can share the gift of life as an organ donor. This final sacrifice embodies Trooper Walker’s actions throughout his life and service as a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper. The Walker family is grateful for the continued support and prayers as they remain at Chad’s side.

August 2019 the SFD Guard was called by Mason VFD to help lay Charlie to rest. The Guard was called back last weekend to help lay Trey to rest. And then we came back this weekend to lay Pepe to rest. To the Ramon family we are truly sorry for your loss. We pray for strength and comfort.

One of them updated her Facebook profile picture yesterday to show the terrain where she was working. A couple of hours ago we learned that today she lost her life on the fireground. Our department is numbed by the news and we are hurting.
