Senior Zane Farney from Sterling takes home the 2A Boys 300m hurdles with a time of 38.68. Farney also won the 110m hurdles earlier this morning.

2A Boys 110m Hurdles State Champion 🥇

Zane Farney of Sterling wins the title with a time of 14.66. Also a standout on the football field as the 2025 S*K 1A Player of the Year. Farney has also been a big part of the Sterling State Champion football and basketball teams this year.

Day #2 for State Golf ⛳️

With the changes to Crossland (formerly Cessna) Stadium at Wichita State, WSU wanted to communicate a few things regarding state track that have been sent to the coaches over the last couple of weeks:

· WSU has a clear bag policy for fans. The clear bag policy does not apply to athletes. Athlete bags/ backpacks will be searched before entry

· No outside food and beverage are allowed in the stadium

· Exception: One unopened 20 ounce bottle of water per person

· Team coolers through the team (northeast) entrance only

· Metal detectors will be used at all entries

· Fans are encouraged to bring as few things as possible to expedite ingress

· Fan lawn chairs will be permitted in the throws area only. Fans may bring lawn chairs if they wish and they must be carried in. Wagons will not be permitted into the event.

· Team van and SUV parking are now located southwest of Koch Arena

· Team busses park where they have the last several years north of the stadium

· The parking lot directly west of Koch Arena is ADA and paid parking ($10 cash or card)

· WSU will have several golf carts shuttling fans from the parking lots to the stadium as they have in the last several years

· WSU will have more food and vendors for sale than ever before on campus and in the stadium including more athlete friendly items that sold out quickly last year
