Colorado Boys State A week-long, hands-on program to learn about the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship. "One week to shape a lifetime."

A one-week leadership camp which provides high school students, between their junior to senior year, with a hands-on experience in how our government works at local, state, and federal levels. In addition to some classwork, Boys State citizens will campaign for votes as they run for various offices. Two boys will be elected US Senators and will attend Boys Nation in Washington, DC in late July. Mo

re than 25,000 young men participate in the American Legion Boys State program each year and more than one million boys have graduated Boys State.
