𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: Today, August 24, Sterling residents are invited to join me for a town hall regarding the Vantage VA2 data center at 22435 Glenn Drive, Sterling.

The Town Hall will begin with a PowerPoint presentation on the VA2 facility. Representatives from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and Vantage Data Centers will also be present to answer questions.

Whether you are on a bike or in your car, make a stop at Claude Moore today to pick up a lawn sign, school calendar, bumper sticker & more. We are greeting neighbors in the parking lot on this final Early Voting Day for the VA Primaries. (Dems are not voting, just the Republicans for their Senate and House candidate). We are here until 4 pm.

A new school year is almost here and that means new pencils, notebooks and crayons for our youngest neighbors. Donate much-needed school supplies and drop off at Claude Moore Rec Center and/or our Sterling Library. A small donation means SO much to our kids.

A representative from Vantage will be present to provide updates on the noise mitigation strategies being implemented at their VA2 facility. This town hall is an important opportunity to hear directly from Vantage and to discuss the ongoing impact on our community. Residents that plan to attend should fill out the registration form so we can plan for attendance.

Good morning from Claude Moore Rec Center on Early Voting Sunday! Yes, folks can now vote early on Sundays as our Republican neighbors are doing so today. We get our chance in November as Dems have NO contested races in the 2026 Primary. But we do have Congressman Suhas Subramanyam and Senator Mark Warner signs and/or lit!

Another reason to stop by before 4 pm today? We have the new School Calendars to give away. Put one on your refrigerator. Turn it over for everything you need to know about November. Find us on the grassy island by the front door at Claude Moore Rec Center. If not today, we're back on Saturday, August 1.

Sterling Supervisors Koran T. Saines (D) is developing a plan to better mitigate the impacts of diesel generators at data centers – a proposal that he is expected to present
