DRUMLINE AUDITION RESULTS
Earlier this week we held auditions for the 2026 SHS Drumline. We are so proud of everyone who auditioned. Everyone worked hard and performed very well!

Shout out to SHS Senior Band Member Isabella Baca

Iszy just spent the weekend representing Sterling at the 74th Colorado All-State Band. Iszy was selected as one of 220 fellow band kids from around the state (and 1 of 8 oboes!) to rehearse, learn, and perform in one of two ensembles. Iszy did SHS proud and was a phenomenal representative of Sterling and of our SHS Band Program. Congrats Iszy!!!

HUGE Shoutout for the SHS Lady Tigers Basketball Team for punching their ticket to the State Tournament today!!!

It has been a pleasure playing for your games this year ladies!!! Now go get that title!!!

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that one of our SHS Band Seniors, Isabella Baca, was offered a music scholarship from CSU Pueblo while attending the Festival of Winds Honor Band over the weekend! 🎶

Not only was she selected for the honor band itself, but Iszy also auditioned for a chance to earn a scholarship and join the CSUP music program. Her hard work has truly paid off!

​🎼 Iszy was offered a $6,000 annual music scholarship AND an $5,000 annual merit scholarship PLUS $1,000 annually for participating in the Thunderwolves Marching Band! (Grand Total $48,000)

​Congratulations Iszy! We are so incredibly proud of you and the dedication you put into your music! 😁😁

​Iszy still has another round of auditions left before she makes her decisions on her plans for next year, but we know no matter where she ends up she will do great things and make the entire SHS Community proud!

On our way home from FoW we stopped for a stretch break and photo op at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.

All of the students performed fabulously on Day Three of FoW!

In addition to the weekend’s performance, Senior Isabella Baca auditioned for the CSU-Pueblo music faculty and is waiting to hear about music and merit scholarship awards 🙂
