STEAM is the theme for our February Family Fun Night! We will have out many of our building and science-based kits for kids and families to explore like our magnet kits and a code-a-pillar.

What do you do when the story asks you to tilt and shake the book, but you do not have the actual book? You move your body of course! Read and move with the story Press Here as you stroll down the stacks in our Children's Department.
The kids are having a great time building with the new connector fish kit at the Exploration Station. Come by to build your own creation, sort the fish by color, or even create a color pattern with the fish. So many possibilities!

Our Exploration Station now has number sequencing puzzles for the kids to enjoy. One puzzle has numbers 1-10 and the other is a bit more challenging with numbers 1-30. What pictures will the kids see when all of the numbers are in order? 🙂
Sequencing is an important concept for preschool children to develop since it allows children to recognize patterns that make the world more understandable and predictable.
