Today marks SRO Johnson's third first day of school as School Resource Officer for Sterling High School and Challand Middle School. It is SRO Johnson's hope that the students are returning as refreshed and excited as he is. Here is to another year of building positive relationships.

SRO Johnson's message : I'm excited to see all of you again this year. I am wishing you all a safe, fun, and exciting school year. Let's make good decisions, treat others with respect, show some school pride, and look out for each other. GO WARRIORS!!!!

The Sterling Police Department is excited to host our Annual Trunk or Treat on October 30th from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Twin City Farmers Market, 106 Ave A.

This is one of our favorite events of the year, and if your kid wants to come dressed up as a police officer, we will sneak them double the candy! 😎🚓

School is back in session next week - Where did the summer go? Please start preparing yourself & your children now. We are asking citizens to use caution and allow additional time for travel in school zones and other congested areas.

Teach your kids to PLAY IT SAFE:
– 𝐒tay five steps away from the curb.
– 𝐀lways wait until the bus comes to a complete stop and the bus driver signals for you to board.
– 𝐅ace forward after finding a seat on the bus.
– 𝐄xit the bus after it stops and look left-right-left for cars before crossing a street.
